Poon’s Chilli Vinegar Dressing
Poon’s Chilli Vinegar Dressing
ARCHIVE #102
A dressing so addictive that people beg, borrow, and steal to get their hands on it. Amy Poon’s Dad, Bill Poon, changed the London restaurant scene when he opened his Covent Garden restaurant in 1976, becoming the world's first Chinese chef to be awarded a Michelin star. The chilli vinegar dressing they served was so popular that people would often steal it. Amy’s kept the restaurant’s legacy alive by bottling the sweet and sharp dressing for people to purchase and drizzle over their dumplings and noodles at home.
